RESEÑA: DATE ME, BRYSON KELLER & SIDELINED

Date me, Bryson Keller | Kevin van Whye | Juvenil, romance contemporáneo, ficción, LGBTIQ+  | Mayo 2020 | Random House Books for Young Readers  | Autoconclusivo | 312 páginas |

What If It's Us meets To All the Boys I've Loved Before in this upbeat and heartfelt boy-meets-boy romance that feels like a modern twist on a '90s rom-com!

Everyone knows about the dare: Each week, Bryson Keller must date someone new--the first person to ask him out on Monday morning. Few think Bryson can do it. He may be the king of Fairvale Academy, but he's never really dated before.

Until a boy asks him out, and everything changes.

Kai Sheridan didn't expect Bryson to say yes. So when Bryson agrees to secretly go out with him, Kai is thrown for a loop. But as the days go by, he discovers there's more to Bryson beneath the surface, and dating him begins to feel less like an act and more like the real thing. Kai knows how the story of a gay boy liking someone straight ends. With his heart on the line, he's awkwardly trying to navigate senior year at school, at home, and in the closet, all while grappling with the fact that this "relationship" will last only five days. After all, Bryson Keller is popular, good-looking, and straight . . . right?

RESEÑA: I WANT TO KISS YOU IN PUBLIC & YOU´RE THE ONE FOR ME - ZELDA FRENCH

I want to kiss you in public | Zelda French | juvenil, romance contemporáneo, LGBTIQ+,  | Junio 2020 | Autopublicado | 1/-- (se puede leer de forma independiente) | 322 páginas |

Meet Louis, the straightest student to ever fall in love with the new boy at school.

If you ask me, I’m a rock star.

Just the right amount of awesome, cute, and only slightly delusional. I attend the best high-school, in Paris no less, I’ve got the coolest best friend, the fiercest girlfriend, and more importantly, I’m absolutely, a hundred per cent straight.

So no, Michael, the new British student, with his dark curls and sweet smiles, doesn’t interest me whatsoever.

I’m too busy anyway. I don’t have the time, or the need, to think about him at all. Not his hair, his British accent, or the way he makes me feel at times, when I’m alone and everything morphs into his handsome face…

Did I mention everything’s perfectly fine?

This is not the year I’m going to lose control, and possibly everything that matters to me, just because of one disorienting, unnerving, life-shattering English guy.

RESEÑA: YOU SAY IT FIRST - KATE COTUGNO || BEEN HERE ALL ALONG - SANDY HALL

You say it first | Kate Cotugno |Romance, young adult, ficción | Junio 2020 | Balzer + Bray | Autoconclusivo | 368 páginas |

Meg has her entire life set up perfectly: her boyfriend Mason is sweet and supportive, she and her best friend Emily plan to head to Cornell together in the fall, and she even finds time to clock shifts phonebanking at a voter registration call center in her Philadelphia suburb. But everything changes when one of those calls connects her to a stranger from small-town Ohio, who gets under her skin from the moment he picks up the phone.

Colby is stuck in a rut, reeling from a family tragedy and working a dead-end job—unsure what his future holds, or if he even cares. The last thing he has time for is some privileged rich girl preaching the sanctity of the political process. So he says the worst thing he can think of and hangs up.

But things don’t end there.…

That night on the phone winds up being the first in a series of candid, sometimes heated, always surprising conversations that lead to a long-distance friendship and then—slowly—to something more. Across state lines and phone lines, Meg and Colby form a once-in-a-lifetime connection. But in the end, are they just too different to make it work?

You Say It First is a propulsive, layered novel about how sometimes the person who has the least in common with us can be the one who changes us most.

WRAP UP || OCTUBRE

HOLA!!

 Ruth M. Lerga |
Romance contemporáneo, new adult, ficción, humor, novela rosa | Octubre 2021 | Selecta| 5/5 | 155 páginas |

RESEÑA: DE SANGRE Y CENIZAS (BLOOD AND ASH #1) - JENNIFER L. ARMENTROUT

De sangre y cenizas |
 Jennifer L. Armentrout | Fantasía, ficción, romance, Paranormal, New adult| Octubre 2021 | Puck| 1/6 |675 páginas |
